Acceptable Use Policy

• Sign up with a fake name, someone else's email, or a false birthdate or age.
• Create multiple waitlist entries, or use bots, scripts or disposable emails to inflate a launch-city vote.
• Submit spam, links or abusive text through any form.
• Scrape the Site, overload it, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission. Report security issues to [email protected].
• Use a stolen card, or buy the Houston Beta intending to file a chargeback.
• Resell, transfer or advertise Houston Beta access.
• Harass, threaten or post hateful or sexual content in the Beta Discord or at the launch party.
• Use the Site for anything illegal under U.S. or Texas law.

The following conduct and content are strictly prohibited throughout Align-operated services, including attempts to engage in, aid, abet, encourage or facilitate these activities.

• Illegal activities. Engaging in, promoting, soliciting, coordinating or facilitating any illegal act, including unlawful violence, exploitation, trafficking, fraud or other criminal activity.
• Sexually explicit content. Posting, transmitting, distributing or soliciting pornography, sexually explicit photographs or videos, sexually graphic profile descriptions, or other content designed for sexual gratification. Explicit sexual content is not permitted in profiles, messages or other platform features.
• Child sexual exploitation or abuse. Creating, possessing, sharing, requesting, promoting or facilitating child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming or sexual solicitation of minors. This includes attempted conduct and AI-generated or manipulated depictions of child sexual abuse.
• Sexual violence and abuse. Threatening, encouraging, depicting for exploitative purposes, arranging or facilitating sexual assault, sexual violence, coercion, abuse or other non-consensual sexual activity.
• Non-consensual content or conduct. Sharing intimate images or recordings without consent, including manipulated or AI-generated intimate imagery; threatening to distribute such material; sexual extortion; or distributing another person's private information without authorization.
• Human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Recruiting, transporting, advertising, soliciting, arranging, facilitating, encouraging or profiting from human trafficking, sex trafficking, forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation. Aiding or abetting these activities is also prohibited.
• Fraud, scams and deception. Romance scams, financial fraud, impersonation, identity theft, phishing, fraudulent payment requests, extortion, deceptive solicitations, or schemes to obtain money, credentials, personal information or other benefits from users through deception.
• Harassment and threats. Stalking, bullying, intimidation, threats, hateful conduct, repeated unwanted contact or other abusive behavior.
• Age and identity misrepresentation. Accessing Align while under 18, misrepresenting your age or identity, using another person's verification credentials, or attempting to bypass age-verification or other safety controls.
• Commercial sexual solicitation. Offering, advertising, requesting or arranging paid sexual services, including prostitution or escort services, or otherwise using Align to facilitate commercial sexual activity.

These restrictions apply even when a user attempts to move prohibited activity to another website, messaging service or offline setting.

We may investigate reports, remove prohibited content, restrict or terminate accounts, and take other appropriate safety measures. We may also delete your waitlist entry, void related votes, cancel your Houston Beta (with or without a refund, depending on the violation and applicable law), remove you from the Beta Discord or launch party, and block further access.

Where required or permitted by applicable law, we may preserve relevant information and report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities. Our Law Enforcement Request Protocols explain how we handle government requests for information.

Report suspected violations to [email protected]. Include the relevant account or contact identifiers, dates and a description of the concern. Do not send or redistribute child sexual abuse material when making a report. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; a report to Align is not a substitute for emergency assistance.
